Hiroaki Kitano

Hiroaki Kitano (北野 宏明?, born 1961 in Tokyo) is a Japanese scientist who currently works for Sony Computer Science Laboratories and is best known for developing AIBO,[1] and the robotic world cup tournament known as Robocup.[2] He graduated from International Christian University in 1984 and received a Ph.D. in engineering from Kyoto University in 1991.
